Be assured that all of our furniture is spaced to comply with social distancing guidelines. There are sanitiser stations at both entrances and our team have received detailed training in our new systems and procedures to comply with COVID-19 guideline. We have completed a COVID-19 risk assessment and have signed off on the COVID-19 five steps to working together.
Our bar area is smart but down to earth and is the perfect place to enjoy a drink with friends and family and is suitable for dining if you prefer a more casual approach than one of our restaurant areas. We welcome well behaved dogs in the bar area. Bookings can be taken over the phone only for the bar area if you would like your dog to accompany you or simply prefer this area, if booking for this area please use the front entrance of the pub. Please note that in line with current guidance, there is no social distancing in our bar area so we cannot guarantee that there will be extra space around your table.
We offer a delicious selection of seasonal, locally sourced favourites alongside traditional pub classics. Our team are passionate about their food and take care in adapting the menu to your needs where we can. Our restaurant and library areas are dining only, are well laid out and can sit a maximum of six people on one table. Please note that both of these areas are not dog friendly. We advise booking to avoid disappointment. Please see our menus section for food and drink menus along with allergen information. If you require an area that is socially distanced with table service only, please book our restaurant area which can be accessed directly through the front door of the pub without the need to walk through our bar area. If you would prefer to be served by a member of our team wearing a mask then please let us know upon booking.
We are also child-friendly, with children’s food options available and colouring packs and puzzles to keep them entertained.
We also have an extensive outside area with a mixture of rattan furniture and picnic benches to make the most of enjoying a drink or Al fresco dining on sunny lunchtimes or long summer evenings. Booking again is advised to avoid disappointment.
There is a large car park with disabled access to the bar, restaurant and with appropriate facilities throughout.
We have good road links to Northampton, Daventry and the surrounding villages and are located 3 miles from Junction 16 of the M1 and 4 miles from the A5.
